I'm so proud of my babies!!! They caught and killed their very first mouse today! (we live out in the boonies, and the mice LOOOOOVE to sneak inside when it starts to get cold!) They seemed very pleased with themselves, and loved all the extra praise and attention they got from me!
Only one concern... Other than rabies (which they're vaccinated against), is there anything I should worry about them contracting through catching mice? I've never heard of anything, and since it's the cat thing to do, I assume they're safe as long as they're healthy and up-to-date on vaccines...
