Filter Sugesstions... (2x1x1ft 68l Tank)

You took a year out also...

I done that but didn't do anything with my life lol...

So I became a student again.

I'll hope to making the next Finding Nemo ;) haha

Well I've decided to have laser eye surgery, so all that lovely money I'd saved up has now been taken away :(

Easy come easy go

lol, no need to be sorry. To be honest one of the main reasons I'm getting it done is becase since having contacts I've had to avoid going to clubs. The fake smoke that they pump out reacts with my lenses and makes my eyes go all icky the next day. Plus it'll be nice to be able to go swimming again without feeling half blind!

And I'm going to study Genetics. What did/are you doing?

Can't you just wear glasses? Save a lot of money! more money for tanks, and going out :)
Don't mean to be ignorant, Just I only have slight problems with my eyes and only need reading or glasses for being on my computer...

Genetics. Well you must be very smart :)

I have just finished a HND in Interactive Media.

Now I am joining a 3d design, Animation and Film production degree. eek. :)

I could wear glasses, and I only have a very low prescription, but it's just high enough that I'd need glasses to drive in. And I don't think glasses suit me. So it's either lenses or laser surgery.

And I'm not that smart hehe. I do love the look I get when I said 'Genetics'. I'm like 'It really isn't that impressive' but people give me the same look they give people who say 'veterinary' or 'medicine'.

And the nemo comment makes sense now!

Oh yeah I didn't think when I said that haha...

But yes, I guess you will always get that with Genetics, it just sounds smart :p

And I don't see the point in Laser Surgery. Just that it's so expensive and stuff... and clubbing really isn't that great... or you could avoid all the smoke machine clubs haha

But like I say, I don't mean to offend or anything. I personally haven't experienced problems to a degree where I would find that being the best option.

Yeah it's expensive but it pays for itself after 10 years (as I'm not paying for contacts anymore). Then I have perfect vision for life, don't have to faff. So all is good :D

Back to the topic at hand by the way.

If you go for the old style fluval (either 2+ or 3+) I'd suggest getting the spray bar attachment that you pop into the outlet pipe. It'll lower the current which will suit your betta.

I will look into it :)

Thank you so much :D

Can't wait to set the tank up hehe... And the one after... and so on ;)
My flat is going to be an aquarium in future years hehe.

Don't we all wish we could have loads of tanks? I'm 12 and tried to persuade my dad to get me a custom made 4 foot wide, 1 1/2 foot back and 2 foot high fish tank or 2 five foot tanks in our garage. He said no :(, but, if I'm still keeping all my fish alive by my birthday [september 30th] then I can get a rio 125 or will try and squeeze on a 180 onto my 3 foot high draw/super strong wood thingy reinforced with metal white draws [hard to explain]. When I have a massive house, massive amount of cash to spend I will probably have about 10 five foot tanks.

A boy can dream... lol

Your 12 and so knowledgeable about fish! gosh I wish I started young!

I would like to create my own tank.

Just wouldn't know where to start though to be honest with you lol.

But for now... I will also keep dreaming haha
