Feeding... Kale?

Hi, everyone. I have a small school of rasboras in my tank, along with two little apple snails. My water leans toward acidic sometimes, so the snails, and possibly the fish will both deserve a supply of natural calcium.

Has anyone here fed their fish kale? Does it need to be blanched before feeding, just to be safe? Thank you all.
