Ex1200 Owners

Im running 2 EX1200's, 1 of the filters is noticably louder than the other its like a humming noise, also theres a sound which is like a vibration noise.

Anyone got any idea what it could be? the filters are around 18 months old clean every 6 months

its not stupidly loud but when sat in the room with no tv but pc on and day to day noise you can hera the humming

Just been on the tetra website and cleaned the impeller and everything else,
now my tank has gone cloudy as hell, and humming even more

I took the inpeller out again and re-seated it. Its now gone back to how it was (not as loud humming)

i can hear water running inside it too, bit like a tap running, it also makes a noise a spits bubbles and stuff out.

is this a sign its on its way out or just need time to settle as its been diturbed?

shake the whole filter, there could be air trapped in it.

Iv just been down to the place where i bought it and he changed it for a new head.
Its quiter now, plus there a few day to run in, see how this one goes
