Endangered Fish To Breed?

Galaxy Rasboras are technically endangered in the wild, and are relatively easy to breed in captivity.

the livebearer idea seems good to me, my local tap water is quite hard and has a ph of 8? is there anyone in the uk who i could source them from? i work at my lfs so i can easily get RO water if i need to soften the water, are there any dwarf cichlids that are low in numbers?

Well you should look at perhaps joining the BLA (British Livebearer Association)

If u like the swords in the shop's their some rare wild swords you can try.
Their some wild guppy types but not as colour full

and many are around in the UK.

Galaxy Rasbora yes they are rare and if u can find the original type from lake Ines would be best to locate.
Shop fish are usually very slender and i took 6 months to feed mine up and to start breeding.

I must have fallen on a good group then. I've managed to get about 20 fry off my first spawning, and raising the fry's nice and simple too.
