I dont know what to do, my peacock spine eel is stuck in a peice of tuffa rock, its head is coming out one side and its tail is in the rock! Iv tried blowing air thru to push it out,iv used a pipett to suck bits of sdand from arounmd the hole, iv poked its tail with blunt objects to push it thru and even tried pulling it thru gently (sound brutal and i feel so bad   ) Please help! Its gasping and is struggling, im so scared i love him to bits! Has anyone else ever had this problem???? Thanks, Joemuz

you need to break the rock open to get him out.
obviously this has to be done with care.

Yeah thats what i was going to get some melafix but whats the tetra aqua safe for, i dont know if he will survive until monday and i canmt get treatment until the which is really bad! Chers, Joemuz

sorry to hear. hope he gets better. in the meantime, are there any aggressive fishes in your tank that may pick on him since he's injured? if so it'd only increase his stress level and would not aid his recovery

I put in a peice of P.V.C pipe for him (a bit wider than him i made SHURE!) The other fish havnt gone in there yet and i doubt they will as its only 1" in diamiter. Cheers, Joemuz

from the blurb on the bottle
the unique colloid ingredient coats the gills and sensitive membranes of fish to protect the whole fish against wounds and abrasions.
contains vitamin B1 which reduces stress in aquariums
