Okay So which one is King?

I am intending to create and Iwagumi Style Aquascape and want a nutrient rich plant substrate to plant HC, Blyx and Staurogyne Repens.

The Tank will be
60 Litres
24" x 18"x12"
Pressurrised CO2
Daily Ferts Dosed

Which one should I use?

Eco Complete?
£24.99 (Plus Shipping) for 9kg (Could get away with this for 1 bag) Total £24.99 Plus £6.99 Shipping (£31.98)

Fluorite Black Sand?
£24.99 (Plus Shipping) for 7kg (would need 9-10kg) (Would need 2 of these) Total £49.99 Plus £6.99 Shipping (£56.98)

ADA Amazonia Black?
£34.99 (plus shipping) for 9 litre. £15.99 (Plus Shipping) for 3 Litre (Would need both of these) Total £51.99 Plus £8 Shipping (£59.99)

But which one would be best to use?

ADA if you want the best. And it is the best of those.

Ahh excellent. Now there is a further chose (Both ADA)

Number 1 : ADA Aquasoil Powder Amazonia
9 litres (£49.99) 3 Litres £23.99 (£73.99)
Link Here

Number 2 : ADA Aquasoil Normal Amazonia
9 Litres (£34.99) 3 Litres (£15.99) Total : £59.99

A Comparison of them can be seen here

Normal - No point in paying extra for the bits they sweep up ;)

Ha Good point, just want my HC to take well

Just wondering, but does the ADA aquasoil Amazonia lower the Ph in the tank?

Mate if you want your HC to do well go with the cheap cheap option Colombo Florabase.:) Worked great for me and still use it in all my tanks.

I got my cherries on white sand and they are perfectly red.

Steveo

Ahh I see. So they Do :)

They have a Fine Grain version, 1 mm - Link Here -

Larger grain 3-4mm - Link Here -

Which one is best?

Snazy
I mean the colour of the shrimp will be fine, however they won't stand out as well on the brown substrate :)

3-4 the smaller gets blown around, a lot!

Why you worried about brown substrate with a HC carpet anyway lol.

Not sure about that. They stand out pretty well red on the sand too in my opinion. It's probably just a point of view.

I guess :) just prefer a black substrate :-D

Okay so columbo black it is :)

Good choice, leeches ammonia so good for a silent cycle too.
