pencilfish look like a mid water algae eater, they are cool!

They ain't 'algae eaters' though.
They'll eat anything and mine are constantly browsing the algae for microorganisms.

so i saw a lot of people training their archer fish, bettas and gouramis to jump out of water to catch prey
but i tried doing it with guppies and they dont do anything

I read about training bettas to jump through hoops above water. Not for me.
