Do you name your fish?

I only name the cool ones

I only name a few of my fish, currently, only 4 out of my 56 fish (although my dad has a few of mine that I didn't count) have names.

Those fish are the big, old or just really cool fish
8" Severum-sunny
6" uaru-Homer
Mogurnda clivicola-Little Mo (Just mo from now on though, he was little 4" ago)
7 year old jewel cichlid-Big red

And the fish waiting for names:
Baby uaru
Baby severum
Little mogurnda clivicola-She needs a girl name though

Uaru- Steve (everyone needs to have a fish named steve)

Severum- Renaldo, or Hiraldo, or possibly Carl...

As for the girl,
How about Athanasia? It means saviour of mankind and its a girls name. Its wonderfully excessive. Great choice. I vote for it. Here here.

Oh and my crawfish's name is Pinchy. Or Mrs Pinchy to those who adress her formally. My male platy's name is steve. Why not. Interestingly enough I can tell almost all my platys apart. They have quite the pecking order. I think Steve might be gay. He's a little bit of a wuss for a male.

I have a couple of apple snails also, by the name of The snail, and The other snail, you know, the dark one. (or blacky for short).

I dont name my fish but my daughter names them.

Saying that though I used to have two goldfish when I was younger that I called Harley and Davidson.

Every single fish I've ever owned has had a name.... except for my 10 cards. I'd never be able to tell them apart, so they were just called 'the posse'

I have too many to name them all

the 2 angels are Angel and Buffy
the shark is called Fergal
The 2 plecs are Tom and Jerry (as they're always chasing each other)
The discus is Aunt Sally

I have a common pleco called grinch, a feather fin syno called jaws "original i know!" and a bettas named rambo, minnie me and big red, a female called cruella and one called jess,

I name by fancy goldfish, tweety,and orange pip, and my plec is called mr plec, don't bother with the shoaling fish.

Syno Catfish - Lucifer
But I use a group name for the neons - The Crazy 88

We dont really give them all "names" for example, our electric catfish we named sausage cause it looks like a sausage. a bumblebee cat we named bumbles.. a texas cichlid we named texan, and a sailfin marble cat we named marbles. Theyre pretty self explanitory lol
