Can anyone identify this infection on my discus? It’s a white patches around the body.

It looks like physical damage, possibly from fighting or swimming into something.

The fish in the middle picture looks a bit skinny and unhappy.

Yes, they are the same fish.

It's weird cause he is eating everyday.

Is it possible that driftwood hurt him?

Yes if the fish panics during the day or night (usually at night), they can swim into any object in the tank and potentially damage/ injure themselves.

If you have driftwood or rocks in the tank, make sure they don't have any sharp or pointy bits sticking out. Diftwood can be sanded to smooth off sharp edges.

If you have sharp rocks, replace them with smooth river stones.

Because some catfish will try to latch onto the discus if the catfish are hungry.

What and awful spot to lay eggs. Can you move the filter to the other side of the tank but leave that intake tube there?

You can't rear discus young away from their parents. Some places do but it is hard. You need to leave the intake tube with eggs where it is and move the filter to the other side of the tank. That way when the eggs hatch, the babies won't get sucked up the filter.

if you can add an established sponge filter that is fine, but if you add a new filter and turn the old one off, you will have ammonia problems.

if you turn the established filter off and leave it off for more than 12 hours, it will start to go anaerobic and become poisonous if you turn it back on without cleaning it out first.

Also the sick discus swimming to the side but still eat live food.

white fluffy stuff on the eggs is fungus. leave the eggs until the parents abandon them.

the fish that is stressed is being bullied by the pr. Realistically, you want to move the pr or the other discus out. I prefer to leave the pr until they have raised a few batches before moving them so they don't break up after the move.

The discus symptoms get worse, now he’s not eating, have this weird hole on the face and breath rapidly.
