Hello all betta lovers,
Thank you for being posting a question about cross breeding. My objective is creating a crowntail with short tail. What should i do? Is that good for gen of my betta. Thanks again.

The Betta breeders around the world have spent many years developing fish with long flowing fins. If you start crossing short fin with long fin, you undo all the work they have done.

Most people try to breed long fin with long fin and short fin with short fin to keep the fancy fin and tails. If you want to breed a short fin with a long fin yo can but the you might have short, long or medium length fins.
