Iam cycling a lobster tank from new and would like to speed up the process by adding gravel and a filter pad from my other tank. The problem is that my other tank has white spot, I have been unable to control it so have been running the tank above 82f so that the white spot does not live.
I have read that lobsters like a cooler tank of around 75 - 76 f. If I transfer the white spot to the new tank is it likely to effec the lobsters. i.e. are lobster succeptable to white spot.

Thanks

Not that I know of. My lobsters/crays have been put into uncycled tanks and survived. In fact they look very healthy. Only one of the ones I gave to my friends have died. I can't even put that down to an uncycled tank, I think that was lack of care given to it, while my friend was away and someone else was looking after it.
