Band looks quite thin on theback so i would say adolfoi but could possibly be Duplicareus

one or the other, thickness of the band is not an indicator

are the pectorals smooth or serrated?

cheers mike ill get a closer look at more of the corys as they keep hiding to make 100% sure

i have taken mike_os' advice and looked at the fish in a clear conatiner from underneath. i have looked at 3 seperate fish with the same markings.

the pectorals are translucent at the mo (possibly due to age?) but the trailing edge of them are definately smooth. i have tried to take photos but my camera is not of good enough qualitiy.
