Coolest store ever!

took my virgin trip to Big Al's Aquarium Services with my bf tonight. WOW so cool in there. they have live marine sharks, like black tipped reefers and white tips ( i SOOOOO want one), and moray eels for sale, and this wicked awesome Severum... to die for... my first severum experience too. i think i may have fallen in love! ... and they had tones of the coolest looking livebearers and cichlids and everything! oh man... if you live somewhere near one, people, do yourself a favour! go walk around and i guarrantee, you will leave drooling. plus, they do live shark feedings once or twice a week, depending on the store. very awesome.

now all i need to do is win the lottery....

Are these stores in the US? I have never been to one, although I have heard nothing but good things about it.

If not, that's ok. I'm going to BC next year... I will just have to find me one of these Big Al places

they're in canada and the us

they have lots of stores, i think they're franchisees though so they're not all exactly the same

I'm actually headed to the one in Hamilton, Ontario next weekend.. I used to live 5 minutes from the one in Brampton til I was 12, so I'm excited to go back to one.. I used to spend sooo much time in there, my mom would drag me out screaming!

I have seen the Big Al's ads in various fish magazines, think there is also a Big Al's on-line. They usually have some good specials on dry goods. Never been to one of their stores, though.

I order from the bigalsonline.com all the time. Great prices on fish equpment and supplies, I would highly recommend them to anyone in the US to order from.
