im not for sure how long this will be here but my female convict has been with her eggs inside a plastic piece of drift wood for about 3wks now should i be worried or is she stayin with the chitlins till there old enough to venture the male goes in every once and a while to check on her but i havent seen her yet any help will be appreciated ohhh yea should i move them to the 29gal but put the 3 africans in the 55gal or leave all like it is

You might want to put this in one of the cichlid rooms. It'll probably be moved. Or do you know that and that's why you said...

I odnt think you should be worried. Convicts breed like rabbits, I wouldnt doubt it if shes already got another batch

Yeah, but my reply was criticising you for not putting this in the right room. You are giving the mods more work and although the answer may not be as quick, it'll be from someone more likely to have experience in the field.

Usually 6 days after the fry hatch they become free swimming and the parents will take them around the tank so they can sift through the gravel for food and stuff.

I think my babies got eaten by the parents they were 6 days old And the parents are swimming like nothing I cant see no babies

Drobbins is right they breed like rabbits in 2-3 weeks get ready for the other batch.
