I am moving in a month or so, and am getting a 5x2x2 for my SA cichlids. I am considering what to do with my 190L/50USG when we move. At the moment I'll have a Keyhole, Bolivian Ram, Khuli loaches and Para Pleco L075 in it.

I am considering turning the 50USG into a Tang tank... Would I be able to keep the Plec with Tangs? This may be the decider.

I like the brichardi species. My water is 7.5 out of the tap, so hardness would not be a problem.

Just chucking around ideas at the moment.

Yes you can have Plecs with Tanganyikan's.

I have a Common Plec that I got from a Malawi tank when it was only an inch long and now is a healthy 2"

Also a very good plec to have with Tangs is a Cochliodon(L137), well ok in the art of handling it's self without interfering with other fish.
