I backed out before I posted a few times in aversion to looking like an idiot on the internet.
 
But to get on topic, I wouldn't consider getting cories if I didn't feel they would be suitable for my tank. However, since pygmy cories are so sensitive to NH3, I find them especially useful for early detection of tank problems.
