i have a 55 gal tank with some live plants and have two 2 letter bottles of the DIY Co2. and i was wondering if that was enough?? or do i need more? Also how long does that last untill i need to replace the bottles with a fresh batch?? thanks.

Typically a DIY yeast/sugar fermentaion reactor will last around 2 weeks once the mixture has been tailored to the yeast strain/conditions. How much depends on plant species and light levels. If there is not enough light, no amount of CO2 will make a difference.

i have a little over 3 watts per gal. and i have all kinds of plants, wich i dont know the names too.
