Clowns Still Flick After Med

Molleys prefer a much different ph level than the other fish in the tank. They prefer 8.0+ Your best bet is to find a compromising ph level such as that number exactly as barbs do not tend to like much higher than that. If you have a tank sickness, chances are the other fish may be getting sick too. Always treat the whole tank, and the more chemicals you add the more 25% water changes are needed. Try not to be changing out water too fast or you will upset the balance of the tank. Take the carbon filter out for best results usually when using medications.

Seems to be better since geting rid of barbs, clowns seem to have made a shole its very nice, inprovement on flicking hardly any, added a load of pete to main filter to soften water, might take mollies back too?

Thats good news.
Feed some shelled peas and then check the clowns for when they go to the toilet.
Internal parasites can make fish also flick and rub.

What would it look like if they did have internal parasite!,i feed sheled peas have done since losing guppy to swimbladder

The poo would look red, white, or clear.
But if you feed bloodworms or red food, then can cause red poo also.

Wilder please help, some of my clowns have now got some dark spots on there black stripes and on the upper fin on one clown, its like a light black spot on the black stripe, one clown has three spots close togather, its very distingtive, stats are all good same throughout treatments, esha exit maybe, dam these fish diseases.

Anyone know what dark to lightish spots could be,im doing a half dose of exit to see if helps.

When i feed my clown loach they now seem to be geting fat bellys, could this and the violent flicking be down to dirty internal worms,i have sterazin and have used it b4 but at a low dose?

it could be is there any signs
of stringy poo or pale feces
i would lay of the blood worm
and feed normal flake food and
see how they go on or feed with
daphnia and brine shrimp if no joy after a few
days then try the sterazin but just with the
change of food at the moment

I never see my clowns poo and to be honest none of the other fish either, use to see the mollys dropin poo all the time but not no more!
