Cichlid Tanks

I always enjoy showing off my tank.

Scunnys right your tank is amazing and im going to set somethink up this wek that looks a bit like that with slate!


Thanks! I'm pretty happy with how the rock came out, it'll look even better when it gets a good layer of algae.

I dont think it will look as good and it will be hard controlling it once it grows :(

Actually, in mbuna tanks, algae is desirable. In the wild mbuna spend most of their day grazing on the algae. IME having algae present cuts down on aggression since they are busy eating, and I don't have a problem with it getting out of control, it just coats the rocks, and I get some on the glass, but that's what an algae scraper is for.
 
i can only imagine how beatiful the inhabitants must have been :good:

That is a corker mate, what fish have you got? Any chance of some close ups of the fish? I think i can see a firemouth.
