Cheeky Request For Mature Media In Bournemouth!

Hi all, my tank has been running for almost 3 weeks now and the ammonia still isnt dropping much below 2ppm.

I have been advised by Miss Wiggle to see what it does over the weekend as I done a water change on tuesday but was just wondering if there are any lovely people in the Bournemouth Area who could donate some media?

I have a 260l tank and use a tetratec1200 but am only looking for a teeny piece to help speed things up,,,

I haven't got any clean media but am more than happy to give a little cash.

I would love to help but Ive just upgraded my tank and am using my old filter to speed up the in fish cycle that I have to do cause I have no other option.

Locust, I am having trouble believing you are the only person in Bornemouth on this largely UK forum. Come on guys, I'm sure somebody can spare some filter media.

think it's about a 4/5 hr drive to bournemouth for me.
