Changing To Sand

I currently have fine gravel in my tank. though i want to change to sand.
I am going to buy some play sand from argos, am thinking 2 bags should be fine for my tank ?? (140 litres).

Whats the best way of prepareing it for my tank ?

Get a new bucket and fill it a third full of sand. Stick a hose pipe all the way into the sand and slowly turn on the tap. Have the flow as fast as it can go without pushing the sand out of the bucket as the water spills out. Continue, moving the pipe about, until the water flows clear. Take out the hosepipe, carefully pour away the water and tip that sand into your clean tank. Repeat until all the sand is rinsed.

When finished and you fill the tank with water it will probably still cloud up a bit but it will eventually clear. This may take a week or so (it depends on how well you rinse it first) but it will clear

i went to the charity shop got a pillow case for 10p boiled it (old fashioned boil wash) on the cooker and used that
