Centre Piece Fish For A 30G

What would be a good centre piece fish for my 30G single or pair not to bothered. I might move or sell the tetras and rasbora if i can find something nicer. :]

Group of Cupid Cichlids? Or Group of Krobia or Guinacara? All three do well in small groups of 4 or so and should do nice for a 30g

Keyhole Cichlids are beautiful fish that get overloked a lot as they aren't very colourful. Very peaceful and very graceful.

I like the Krobia. Would they be fine in with my current stock.

Im not keen on kribs and im worried they would eat the bn eggs. Ive been looking for some apisto but all i can find around here are apistogramma agassizi and apistogramma cacatuoides

I had angels but they started fighting and nipping my other fish so i gave them away.

Are there any pike cichlids that could go in there and not eat any of my fish? what about blue acara or do they get to big?

Krobia would be great if you can find them Quite rare but possible to find.

Blue Acaras are usually better off in a 40g though might work? As for pikes there are a few dwarf species that would work but not with the tetras and harlequins - maybe the harlequins but not the tetras. Like Crenicichla Regini or Compreciseps and theres a third begining with N but I forget its full name.... Compreciseps is the most agressive though.

Ill have a look and see if i can get them. Are firemouths any better that blue acara for smaller tanks? i would like a pair or trio of cichlids just to finish of the tank but i want something a little different.

snakeskin gourami. just one. they get about 8 inches and are supposed to be very peaceful.

I just wanted somethink a little different to the standard dwarfs.

would Geophagus steindachneri or checkerboard cichlid work?

Steinies get too big for a 30g bull males get about 8 inches or more. Checkerboards would be fine but quite tiny.... A good group of them would be cool though.
