Hey everyone, i have done more research and found there can be problems with CO2 for live plants. I imagine the problem is the something to do with the plants not getting enough CO2. What causes this?

Thanks.

Green plants breath CO2 they absorb the carbon atom and then give off oxygen. if you keep a lot of green plants in your tank, the water can't carry enough CO2 to supply them. in this case you would install a CO2 injection system. the colour of the light used also has an effect on how your plants live too. it may be worth you doing a search. of the forum, using the words CO2 then try lights or plants (try it in both cases). there are quite a few threads that will give you all the info you need.
