Can I Feed Platies These Pellets?

I used to have a cichlid tank with Black Convict Cichlids. I decided to try something smaller and change my tank to a 10 gal. I got platies for my 10 gal. and i still have mini and baby pellets for cichlids from Hikari. I fed them a baby pellet since the mini pellets are too big for them and they seemed to love it. They had problems eating it so i decided to give it to them crushed and they ate it all. Is it OK to give them these cichlid pellets even though they're not cichlids. I am also feeding it to my fry and since the baby pellets have growth formula and they made my convict babies grow a little faster.

I put catfish pellets in for my corys and my platies and guppies love them so I guess it's the same thing really. Having said that someone more experienced may say otherwise

I think it should be ok

When I give my cichlid some pellets, my bichir eats them too.
It cant cause any harm.

Yeah i have been feeding them these pellets for 4 days now
