Now that I moved 1200 miles for the ocean, I'm fantasizing about a marine tank here in Colorado. It's going to take a lot to convince my wife it's a good plan.

What can I say that will win her over?

Your gonna pay for everything and take care of it by yourself :p

If you have kids, you can tell her it will be a great learning experience for them, they'll learn some stuff about responsibility, and think of the science!

What sawickib said lol. Also watching a tank full of fish can be better than TV!

It' going to be difficult, we're renting and will probably move at the end of the year. Setting up anything complicated is going to be a problem and I won't let her buy any new furniture.

Either I divorce her or wait til 2015.

Marriage is an archaic structure anyway. Get the tank. ;)

Wait til you are permanently settled then you won't have to dismantle a complicated set-up - also will give you time to use your powers of persuasion that it's a good idea for all the reasons you can muster!

Where at in Colorado did you move to? If you are in the Denver area, go to About Fish, Inc. on Federal Blvd and hwy 36.

You could let her help pick out the fish
