I bought 3 1" blue acaras from that petplace.com. These little guys were in better shape then this fish in my lfs. They all made it and flew cross country. I did the over night shipping it was extra but worth it. Only thing was one of the fish bags had a leak so that fish was a bit stressed out if i did not get them as fast as I did he might have died. But he was fine and recovered quickly.
I would order from that petplace again great price and great fish. Yes it was scary ordering on line I was tracking their every move. I still have 2 of them I had to sell one due to him not getting along. They are healthy and are about 3" and still growing.
I would like to try and order off aquabid. But my lfs said they will do orders for me so that saves me money on shipping. If they can't get what I want then I will buy online again. Only draw back to online fish is the cost to ship them.
Every fish gets shipped at one point in their life. So why not have them shipped to you. The drive home in your car is just as stressful as being shipped.
