In my 10 gallon aquarium, I have one male and two female phantom tetras. They are beautiful, but the females tend to hide in the back, while the male guards his territory (the rest of the tank, seemingly). At feeding time (2x/day), the little girls try to swim out to get some food, but he chases them down. He doesn't seem to bother the other tank inhabitants.

My first thought was to try to get some more females, but tank is already pretty packed. Any assistance is welcomed.

Water ph is normal - water changes about 20% per week - mini bio-wheel filtration. Mix of some real plants and some "silk".

well, i'm no tetra expert, but since you don't have room to add fish, maybe youshould just remove the offending male..........................
