Breeding

I have a 54L (14 US gal.) tank currently empty, and I wanted to try my hand at breeding something that isn't live bearers. I was thinking maybe some SA dwarf cihlids, apisto's or rams maybe.
Would this tank be big enough / would I need another growing on tank or something?
What WOULD I be able to breed in a tank of this size?

yes, a 14g would be enough to breed a pair of apistos or rams.

Have you considered corydoras? They are supposed to be easy to breed and are great in a small shoal for a tank that size. I know people think of them as a cleanup crew but they can be a lot of fun to watch in their own right.

you will need a second tank to rear the young up in.
