I am potentially going to be taking in an African dwarf frog that is being bullied by another frog in its current home. I have a heavily planted 6 gallon with 3 male guppies so would it be okay in there if I were to take it in? I could also possibly move a few fish around to open up an empty tank but that would be slightly more stressful for both me and the fish.

I don’t foresee a problem other than the frog eating guppy fry.

Aquatic frogs really shouldn't be kept with fish. They typically have a difficult time competing for food with fish.
If the frogs are exhibiting aggressive behavior, there is something wrong with how they are being kept- for example, insufficient hiding places or food.

That has not been my experience with guppies.

I've kept these dwarf frogs together with other fish and never were those frogs outcompeted for food.

I used to keep mine in a community tank but now frequent forums which recommend against it. Surprised that the frog is being bullied tbh, they are really friendly, is the current owner sure it's aggression? Mine occasionally grab onto each other out of excitement at feeding time but that's because their eyesight is poor and they don't always recognise the other frog as a friend not food.

The main issues people tend to encounter with keeping these guys in community tanks are not getting enough food (this can be overcome with target feeding) and fertilisers/medications being toxic to them, which would cause an issue if you ever needed to medicate the guppies for any reason.

They do also like to be in groups so something to consider in future if you do take one in.

The owner decided to keep the frog, probably for the best. This now just gives me an excuse to get some shrimp that are on sale.
