If the fish is female she could be developing eggs.

If she is eating well and pooping normally then don't worry about it.

If she stops eating or does stringy white poop, then worry.

That's what I was thinking, I'm going to put nothing into the tank tonight I'm sure they'll be fine, could I reduce her algae wafers to maybe 3 times a week? As my elephants eat bloodworm daily and I'm sure she'll be helping herself to that as well.

Yes, 3 times a week sounds good.

Plecos are scavengers naturally. She will find any leftover food.
