No its likely not a long development, stress causes the immune system to lower and make it easier for nasties to take hold. I hope he gets better.

I have many ppl who refuse to buy from him now and proof that it was ill b4 sending
he has infection on each side of his body thats whats causing his problems.
Got antibiotics now and hopefully he will be back to full health soon

Just for fairness, on the other forum you said you have been told that from pics before he was sent he was fine. or words to that effect.

I've had 2 lots of fish from the said breeder. I was absolutely delighted both times. They came really well packaged and arrived exactly when they should have. The breeder also took the trouble to email me when he despatched them, again the next day to check they had arrived and once again to check they were ok after a day or two.
Have the other dissatisfied customers made themselves known to the breeder? If not, why?
Going through the post is always stressful for fish and if your water quality is significantly different from that of the breeder it will make them under the weather.

Got his tank all coverd in towels with a gap in top for air of course hehe

On another forum you said you took 2-3 hours to warm this guy up. Not 12, 2-3.

It is not fair of you to do this to the breeder, especially when you can't even keep your story straight. Alot of people have access to both forums and can check what you've said on both!

How is anyone supposed to trust what you say over his when you can't be trusted to tell the story right in the first place?

I think everyone is sorry that the betta is poorly, but really you arent doing yourself any favours.

Pheonix I advised you last week to treat the fish with anti-internal meds. Not Melafix. You then claimed no money etc etc then said no shop had it. Either admit you made some serious errors (as we all have in the past as we learnt) and just take care of this poor betta to the BEST of your ability, instead of blaming others for your own ineptitude. Yes the PK could have been posted better but that wasn't the whole cause of his illness. And dragging all this into several forums was not only spiteful but wholly unecessary. Get over and get on with treating that fish as it deserves. I wouldn't send you one of mine now for £100.

Theres no point naming a person who isnt a member here so I will lock this thread.

If your betta is still ill then make another post but make sure its only about the illness.

If he is still alive then make sure he is in good clean water and add a teaspoon of aquarium salt to a gallon and see how he does with that, as it will help with sores on the skin.
