Hello everyone! I don't know how to feed my cories without having the betta chump down their pellets! This is why he's been getting all bloated. I thought about taking him out when I feed them, but I don't want to stress him out everyday! Suggestions?

My betta does the same thing, except I feel big sinking wafers so he just picks up the whole thing and swims around with it. He started to chomp off their fins too in the process of trying to get the wafers. So what I started to do is I feed the cories after all the lights in the house go off. I figure they can find the food in the dark with their sense of smell and the betta can't see it.

Bettas are piggys, dark doesn't bother them as they are good hunters! Try breaking up the cory's food and hide it, then tap the tank side to get your betta's attention and feed him.
