Finger corals and other leathers can sulk for as much as a week or so after being disturbed. Once it settles in, the "happy" appearance is usually more or less the same shape, but a bit more extended and with the tiny fluffy polyps out.

I got a red sea testing kit for CA, MG and KH.
 
My CA reading was below the chart, Is that normal for a tank where no CA has been dosed? Or should it be at some range? Am sure its around 200ppm ish maybe tiny bit lower.

I'm thinking of going back to marines after a six year break. I think I will try a native tank but I will need a chiller which are expensive here. Anyone have any tips.
