I got a red sea testing kit for CA, MG and KH.
 
My CA reading was below the chart, Is that normal for a tank where no CA has been dosed? Or should it be at some range? Am sure its around 200ppm ish maybe tiny bit lower.
 
I'm thinking of going back to marines after a six year break. I think I will try a native tank but I will need a chiller which are expensive here. Anyone have any tips.
