If its any help, the pair were purchased at 2.5" in February 2009, as star says, she had them from me at around 4" (may/june 2009), they are now nearly 7", so I would guesstimate they are around 18-20mths old.

Prices I am not too sure of I was thinking around £5 each? but will do discounts for multipuls. As for postage, personally I am not keen on overnight posting, however there is a courier that does same day delivery that I would prefer to use if collection is not an option.

Sorry I have not updated thier progress much lately been distracted with personal stuff going on, but glad to report batch 1 are really looking like propper little sevs now and some are getting propper little characters!!

Batch 2&3 are starting to develop thier stripes and are really growing well so well in fact I cant tell which are batch 2 and which are batch 3 anymore

When will they be ready, do you think? I'm interested in a couple for my tank, but would have to have them delivered as I live too far away. However I am in all day as work from home, so that will mean the fishies won't be in the bag any longer than strictly necessary

I dont know when they will be ready. I am not "force" growing them, the biggest at the mo is about 1" so at least a couple of months before they get to about 2" which is the size I am aiming for before letting them go so I can be sure they are fit and healthy enough to make journies. However, please dont be offended but you have an oscar and a GT which grow faster the rotties and I think adding babies would be asking for trouble.

Minxy may have some of when they were younger, I dont have any, my pc lost the pics I took before my camera went caput.

I have a 1.5" Green Sev in with them at the moment, who is fine. Though, I agree that yours are still too small for me, by the time yours are ready my Oscar will have grown another couple of inches

I will source some babies from somewhere else

Hi there i would be very intrested in purchasing a few of these when the y are ready been resding this thread for some time but dont post very often,i have just recently upgraded to 100g tank with the biggest fish being a male gold spot severum who is very peacefull, also have a 60l tank if need growing on Love your sevs by the way.

Babies growing well now, some of batch 1 have reached just over 1" now and colouring up beautifully. Batch 2&3 are catching up rapidly now and are really growing fast considering I have left them in the smaller tank. Hopefully Minxy is bringing her camera again next week for an updated pic of them

I saw the batch 2 pics posted by minxy, lovely looking fish, I was surprised how big they were to be honest!

It can't be long now until batch 1 is ready for adventure

Weirdly enough batch 2&3 are catching up rapidly with batch 1 all I have done is change the water changes to twice a day instead of once a day!

I think I may have to up the frequency of water changes for my HRP fry then
