I'd love to tell you mate but I honestly have no idea . I got a pair given to me and this is how he ended up ;-). Didn't look so healthy when I first got him took a while and he's turned out great .

they are a pair but am not sure about sex. the larger one chases the smaller one, he chases other fish at feedign time to so i assume he is the boss

Sounds like a familiar situation. I had a trip of them and 'mine' did nothing but chase the other 2 i added. Rehomed them all in the end. If i ever see a true breeding pair then i will be snapping them up for sure!
