Arghhhh! I Just Found Molly Fry In My Son's Tank!

I'm only doing it because it's really my only option for a center piece fish. :(

I bought my Flame male from Petsmart and I bought both females from Walmart. The new Powder Blue is from PetCo since they have that 30 day warranty. Here's to hoping I don't need to use it :drinks:

Yes. :good:
I think I'll buy mine at my local petco. They have a very good warranty. I just wish I had a qt tank, so I can monitor them. Usually they do have a few near dead ones, so I'll see. Is it contagious to other fish or other gouramis?

I believe it's species specific, which doesn't include Pearls or Three Spot varieties such as Gold, Opaline, Blue, etc. I'm not sure about the Honey Gourami varieties. I think those are safe.

I'm getting better at taking pictures of moving fish...........this is the best picture yet but you still can't see the iridescence of the Powder's color & sheen:

Nice. I guess I'll just have to hope then when I get mine. Petco is a good dwarf gourami buying spot for their warranty. :good:

Here's my 10 year old son's 20 gallon tank:

That's a nice tank :good: I wish I was good at scaping. Almost into my 3rd tank. :hyper: my dad told me I'd need a challenge he wouldn't let me get it for free. (even though I'm paying) so he said no larger than 15 gallons no more than $100 for the tank and no more than $130 after it's up (other than fish) and I had to be able to do 50 pushups in a row before I could get it. Soo close. I'm at 27. After working out tomorrow I think I may get there :good: my record is 46. I really want it so let's see what I can do. :) :hyper:

Here's some new pictures of my 36 gallon. I can't seem to get a good picture of the Pearl Gouramis since they never sit still:

I just got a new camera for Christmas and I have no idea how to use it. I need to take a Photography course. I'm sure this Nikon takes better pictures than these....................

Thanks! I just need to figure the camera out & I'll have much better shots I swear. I should start reading the manual

It's not a SLR top end camera but it's still a Nikon, it should be able to get better stop action than these pics.

That's a bowfront right?

Yes, it's a bowfront. I always liked the look of the curved glass & the fish get more bang for the buck in swimming room.

I like bowfronts as well but can't seem to find any cheap ones.

Indeed you are getting better at taking pictures. I have an SLR so basically the camera does the work. All I do is push the button.

I got this 36 gallon Bow for $175 at PetSmart including the stand, hood & light fixture. It was normally over $230 but I bought a floor model that the stand was slightly scratched. I touched it up myself with a brown Sharpie.

I wish I could afford a SLR Nikon or Canon. Maybe next Christmas................

Apparently at my Petco they charge a $20 setup fee if you buy a floor model. lol. The cheapest I've seen a bowfront was the 16 gallon bowfront aquarium kit by aqueon for $125.00 at petsmart then a 16 gallon bowfront aquarium kit and stand at petco for $200. I've never seen a 36 gallon. :look:

Just saw 2 36 gallons at petsmart. The kit w/o the stand for $175 and the kit with the stand for $250. Maybe I can get the floor model too. :hyper:
