Are These Safe To Use As Decoration?

Just wondering if unglazed clay pots affect the water in any way. Had a cactus die... want to donate his old home to the fishies. I know a lot of poeople do this, but haven't seen any info on if it alters water parameters.

Normal terracotta pots are fine, I am pretty sure they don’t leach anything harmful, if anything at all, have used lots with no problems, just give it a good wash to get all the compost out.
