Aquaclear Biomax Question

My new Aquaclear 30 filter puts big cloud of something looking like tiny pieces of that ceramic material BioMax insert is made of into the water.
It does it when filter starts after minor changes inside filter basket.
Is it because BioMax is still new?
I am now afraid to stop the filter.

Biomax, like many carbon products, must be rinsed thouroughly before being used. Other ceramic bio medias do this as well if not rinsed, and there always seems to be a little cloudiness when first used.
