I am looking at getting a larger aquarium at the moment and have come across the above tank and stand. Seems quite a good deal as it is 600l, comes with 4 x 80w T5 lights, 2 x 300w heaters and 2 x external filters (though I will probably change these as they are only rated at 750lph) all for £919.99 at city aquatics cardiff, plus they free delivery to the UK.

Sound too good to be true and I would like to know if anybody has any review / experience with these tanks?

Any info would be greatly apreciated.

Cheers,

Mark

I have the 1500r tank and am reasonably happy with it. Cabinet is sturdy and tank is fairly well made. Had to fiddle with the ends of the light fittings to get a couple of the tubes to work. I only use one of the filters supplied (as I have others) but it works well enough. Tank lids are so so and can distort a little from the heat of the lamps but thats me just being picky. All in all its a nice enough tank for the money but if I had the choice again I would probably buy the solid oak one that Maidenhead Aquatics are selling but it does cost more. If you need to know anything else then pm me and I will try to help.

i'm on my third aqua one tank now and i think they are great value and quality ,i've got the 1050 filter running on my 180litre tank and works well and is very quite, i like the style of them as well :good:

Thanks for the replys guys, think I am deffo going to invest in one of these tanks. May just order the tank though and get the cabinet from elsewhere. Does enybody have any pictures of the cabinet which comes with the tank? or internal dimensions to the cupboards?

Mark

I'm looking at this tank so how good are they? And are they still going strong?
