Anyone Use Mopani Wood?

Hey everyone

i have alot of mopani soaking in my bath at the moment,and i noticed today that some have got these little white things over parts of them!!

what is this? is it ok to go in the tank?

nope its not moving,it just appeared!!

well it didnt appear to move.

it looks like little drops of glue

Yeah its fungus, perfectly normal on newly soaked wood, it will go on its own eventually or you could scrub it off, alternatively, plecs and apple snails love the stuff and other fish will peck at it

thanks for the info,what plec's dont get very big,i do like them,but worry i will get something that will get very large!
