Anyone Use Malawi Salts?

hi folks, was browsing ebay and came across seachem lake malawi salts. they claim to help make the water like it is in their natural enviroment. is it worth buying some or am i waisting my time as i dont have any wild caught malawis but i have quite a few F1's.
any reviews would be great

I don't have any experience with them. However I can tell you that if your PH is in the 7.6-8.0 range you really shouldn't need them. My Malawi have been breeding in my tank conditions so I would say the salts arnt necessary. I wouldn't add them if you have a Pleco

I have never used them, but i was wondering the same thing. The rift lakes naturally have a bit of salt. I have heard people say that the salt+micro minerals help bring out the color in the fish.

I have also been looking at it on fleabay and was wondering the same thing. lol.
