Anyone Know Where I Can Get Safe Coloured Sand?

I wanted to change from gravel to sand. I know it's tacky lol but that's just me, I want pink sand. I can't find anywhere that has it online. I can find craft sand but I don't think it would be safe.

Does anyone know if there is such a thing for aquariums and where I can get some.

This says it's safe for aquariums; and they do free samples, so you could test it to see of the colour comes out or if it changes the pH before you commit yourself!

OMG that's just what I wanted. Thanks. How would I go about adding the sample? I'm frightened I'd hurt my fish.

No, don't put it in the tank; just pop it in a old jam jar. Give it a good shake every day for a week and see if any of the pink colour comes out in the water.

Then test the pH and see if it's gone up compared to a control sample of water you've kept in another jar.

I have to say, some of the sands and gravels on there are seriously tempting :blush:

Oh yeah that's a good idea. Thank god for you lol. You're brilliant! I love the glimmer sand. I'm such a girl lol it has to be pink. I'm debating whether to get sand or the pink aquarium glass gravel. I want something pretty and sparkly. At the mo I have pink gravel.
