Any Leek Growers Out There?

Hello,

I am looking for the experience of some leek growers. I planted my leeks as transplants in spring and now i have some pretty big ones and a few have flower/seed pods (i'm unsure) on the a long stem coming from the plant. Does this mean i need to harvest them now? P

i grow leeks. if there is still a flower they may not have germinated. check the fruit itself is it there should be atleast 8 inches long

yeah pull them m8 ideally you pick before they flower or set seed but it doesnt matter that much
pull the most developed and leave the others till you need them that will keep them fresh for longer

yeah i live in a village reasonably near chester, i just scaled it up to chester lol! i get my fish from wyevale aquatics, blakemere aquatics and sometimes pets at home.
