Haha I have no secrets Krib if I had any I would share.. They just mate and thats it.. The male angel is about a year younger than the female..I must have made a lucky choice when I bought him.. x

Congratulation again Heather!
I guess you need to hatch some baby brineshrimps this time. So many babies.
I wish I get me some eggs and eventually some frys from my Angels.
Recently got me big male Angel for my big Gold Female. He is ready to do his part but she is not so sure about this old man who showed up in her home on one day. So they are living in the same home but there ae this clear wall standing between them.
However, I did get me some ittsy bittsy albino bristlenoses came out of the cave recently. Finally the frys from the fish that take care of their young. The Dad was guarding the eggs/frys for few weeks. It is amazing to see the creature with size of pea brain have sense(instinct whatever you call it) to take care of them youngs.
Also I finally got some wiggler from my Albino Sterbai.
Hopefully, I can get my Albino Angels to breed also in near future. Then I have 3 different Albinos'. That would be pretty cool.

Anyway, good luck with raising them babies. You better have more than 3 Angels this time. Then again, you probably need more tanks.

Aww you have been busy then Neon with all your frys..
Yeah looks like some BBS will be needed this time as they have so many..I think I will remove them from the community tank soon..I will let you know how I get on with them.. x

my angelfish laid eggs on my glass magnet cleaner should i leave them be or put the whole thing into a breeding box? i have around 70 fish in my tank and am just worried that they might be eaten as eggs or when they hatch and im not around to save them!?

Hi Robbo.. Congratulations on the fry..
Wow you must have a big tank to hold 70 fish?! How many gallons is your tank?
How certain are you that the fry belong to the angel fish? Are they fanning and guarding the eggs?
Do you have a spare tank? If you do you would be better setting that up for the fry as I dont think they will last very long with 70 other fish.. In my own opinion I wouldnt use a breeding box..

hey no i dont have another tank i could use unfortunatly. i got a 500l tank and most of my fish are quite small but things like my tiger barbs would still enjoy the fry! oh an i saw the angel laying. think the eggs are not fertile now tho as they have gone white but they should lay again soon shouldn't they?

Aww yeah if they are white they are unfertile..Or maybe you have 2 female angels.. How many angels do you have in your tank?
My angels usually spawn every month..

nice one heather....mine laid 2days ago and got about 6o-70 wigglers
got a female guppy aswell and shes just laid about 60babies so its like a nursery now...ive caught my keyholes and rehoming them with my sister,that leaves only the clowns<angels did it off gaurd so didnt have time to catch the others

hi heather, i have three angelfish but two of them are always together with the other one left out. how can i tell if i have all females or not?

can o ask how often do you clean the water in the fry tank? are they as fussy as discus? How often do you do water changes in the community tank? they are so so cute by the way as looks really healthy by they way!! nice job!
