That's too bad. Then again, you already got some more eggs, I am so jealous of you.
My 2 gold Angels never paired up. It seems one had worm or something never grew up 1 1/2" or so although I had them since the beginning of year.
But now I got 2 more Angels. I just couldn't refuse when I saw these guys. They are albino and one seem to have pearlscale also. They are still 1 1/2" or so but they are growing. They are in the tank in the kitchen and they always beg for the food every time I go to the kitchen. Little piglets. But pretty little piglets.
I think the bigger Gold is female waiting to find the suitable husband. I might introduce these albino when they get little bigger. And how they get along. Of course, I will keep close eyes on them when I do that.

So hopefully I can get some eggs and frys from Angels in near future. We'll see.

Hopefully you will have good luck Neon.. I must have been lucky when I bought my angels..Found the lucky pair I guess.. :hyper: x

Heather, how are the last batch of babies? Congrats on the new batch and the eggs. How are the eggs? I cant belive they spawned again, and so soon.

Got 5 left from previous batch.. :good: The new batch are still in my community tank mum and dad are guarding them very well.. They will be wrigglers soon.. Hopefully this time I will take more out and have bbs ready for them.. I will keep everyone updated.. Heather x

I sure hope so. Speaking of LUCKY, I did get lucky yesterday. I bid on the fish auction and I won it for FREE shipping and all. They(6 home bred young Gold Rams) should be here in next Wednesday or Thursday. :hyper:
So I will have some another C*child I always want to have soon. Pretty cool, yeah.

BTW, are there any update pictures yet, Heather? :snap:

Updated pics.. Got 6 left thought there was only 5  Not very good pics as they are still really small..They are starting to colour now too, tiny black marks on some of them..
2nd batch that were in community tank disapeared the other night

I guess community tank can be the rough place to survive. Just like growing in the wild or maybe even tougher since there are only limited space to escape. I guess it depends on the other tank mates and how many. And of course, the parents can be the threat sometime.
Maybe you need to give them their own tank if you want to grow more babies.

P.S. My 2 red eyes are getting bigger. After all they beg for food all the time. I think they are about 1 1/2" now. It would be best if they are a pair but hopefully not both of them are females.

Another pic.. Only have 3 left now (only 2 in the pic the 3rd was swimming around).. They are going strong and eating well.. Im hoping they make it.. Im planning on keeping them if they do.. One of them has a little black head and looks sooo cute.. Thanks for looking x

Good girl Heather! More picture.
I see they have moved to the new home. How long it has been since they were born? 3 weeks? They look still small, huh.
What have you been feeding?
Can't wait if my 2 Albino Angels would pair up. They, too moved to bigger home. And they seems hang around each other and I am hoping. And they seem to have never satisfied appitite. Also they can see me well enough that they beg food all the time if I am like walking within 5'. They are such a pig. :shifty: Now they are about 2"(5cm) body size.

Couple more pics.. They are getting a bit bigger now.. One is kinda plain looking, think he made end up like dad..One has a little black ring round its eye (little cutie) and the other has a little black head he/she is my favourite and is the largest out the three.. x Click on the pics to enlarge them .. :good:

No No, thanks for posting them. They are cute as always.

What are you feeding them now? It seems it would be a lot of work for hatching BBS for 3 frys. Or did you find some alternative food for them?

P.S. I think I might get some eggs and hopefully some frys from Gold Rams. Although they are still small but I think the female have her pink belly and I think I even see the tip of tube peaking. :hyper:
So it seems they will spawn before the Angels.
This would be a change for me. The fish who knows how to raise their own kids.

Good luck with your eggs and rams Neon.. :good:
I didnt hatch BBs for them I have been using Liquifry and TetraminBaby (powder food).. They seem to be enjoying it.. :good: So far so good.. x

Thanks Heather. Although I have not see them produce eggs yet and I need to give them their own tank eventually. And probably rehome few of them out of 8 the guy sent me. But I also would like to see how they do in some not so family raising friendly situation. So I might leave them as is for now and see how their first spawn would go. Not to mention, it would be tough to catch the right pair. They seem alike and still small. So it would be a challenge to catch them anyway.

Yeah, I kind of figure, you must used something else. It would be a too much hassle to make BBS for few frys.
You know I never name my fish before but I might give them name for 2 of my Albino Angels. Because 1) I can recognize them(well, so can they it seems within 10' or so) by their different markings 2) They do not run away like most other fish when I come near the tank. As a matter fact, they do dance left and right and even huff and puff at the water surface when I look down like goldfish. Obviously they are looking for food. And it seems they never get full. Such a pigs. So I have to watch not to over-feed and burst into the water. :shifty:
Anyway, I just have to come up some uni-sex name like Chris or Pat since I have not know their sex. So as you can see I am start to get into the NEW World OF C*chlids now. I still like the colorful Tetras and goofy winking Corydoras but now I do like my Angels and Rams also. Can't wait to see them take care of their young. Although it may take a while for them to get it right especially the Angels. Heck I don't even know if I will have a pair. But eventually I will get one.

Well, catch you later and good luck with your small ones. They are such a cuties.

So how's your babies, Heather?
Have they became tiny Angels yet? You know what I mean. Have they became more flat and round and poking some fins out? Thought I ask since it has been for a while.
