Hello, yet again its me with my fungus problem. It's still not shifting and i've been treating it with Esha 2000 for the last three days, a bit before that i tried the fin rot medication from King British which was meant to treat fungus too. I've just done a partial water change and am wondering what to do now. I have more of this Esha 2000, shall i continue to use this and just start at step one with it again? I have some Pimafix which says it helps with cottony fungus which i have got. I just dont know what to do.

xx

Add the pimafix with the esha med and reduce temp by two degrees.
Increase aeration in the tank.

have you diagnosed the 'fungus' properly?
I'm thinking you have a bacterial problem that is often called fungus.
fungal treatments will not cure bacterial problems.

Esha med is bacterial med but it's not working.
Ditch it run some carbon and get another med.
Myxazin and pimafix, or anti internal bacteria med by interpet and pimafix.

Thanks honey pie x

Is there a way i could treat her on her own without do all of em. I haven't got an extra tank, is there any way i could just bathe her in something?

Fungus still aint going but she is still eating and everything. No ill effects as yet x

You could do a methylene blue bath but you would have to do a search on it as forgotten the dosage.

i found adding antibiotic meds from the vet to the food more helpful than shop bought meds in treating columnaris but it's hard to find a vet to help when treating fish
good luck
