I have been bathing my fishy in salty water for seven days now and although the fungus looks like it is improving i have noticed she seems to be more laboured when breathing. It's not terribly noticable just as the others aren't doing it I notice.

If she laboured breathing now she not going to make it, columnaris can affect the gils, sorry.

I am today sad to tell that you were right. She passed away this morning. I was thinking she was getting better, no laboured breathing, skin healing and she had just started to eat again. Saw her swimming around this morning but when i went home for lunch she was bobbing on top of the water lifeless. I shall miss her, she fought so bravely. I wish her well as she swims free under the rainbow bridge.
