since my other big tank is currently at a stand still, due to cycling issues. ive devided to try me efforts at a planted tank for my 10 gallon. i really want to do dwarf hair grass carpeting, or HC. however i think HC probably is farely hard to get, however the dwarf hair grass is available at petsmart so ill probably go in that route.
i was just wondering 1. is this a high light type plant? 2. how much lighting do i need? wattage etc... 3. how easily is it to maintain? 4. how long it will take to actaully carpet my substrate? (keeping in mind its only a 10 gallon)
also i was thinking of usuing flourite, or atleast thats what i think its called as a substrate. they sell it at petsmart and it says it good for planted tanks?
also would a DIY C02 setup be neccasary???
