Adding Female Bettas To A New Tank. Would This Work?

20 gallon tank:

1 Dwarf Gourami
5 Mollies
3 Red Wag Platies
2 Emerald Cories (Which i will take back and possibly exchange for albinos)

I was wondering if i could add them and how many?

No, the dwarf gourami will be the problem , and there will be many territorial issues when introduced into the tank, due to the fact of both being very aggresive, territorial, and labyrinth fish. Dwarf gouramis as well as bettas don't tolerate other fish in there range of the tank that have similar colors to there own very well
